1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Baghchal Online ("the App") or this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. Who can use the App
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services, you must be at least that old.
3. What the App offers
Baghchal Online is a mobile strategy game based on the traditional Nepali board game Baghchal. You can play against jungle creatures, share one phone with a friend, play online against other players, and play a friend with a room code. You can earn coins, XP, trophies and ranks, and appear on leaderboards. Some modes need an account.
4. Your account
- You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens in your game account.
- One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.
- Your display name must not be offensive, must not copy another person, and must not contain contact details. We may change or reset a name that breaks this rule.
5. Coins, gems and other game items
Coins, gems, XP, trophies, ranks, creatures and avatars ("game items") are part of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money, and you only have a limited right to use them while you play.
- You earn game items by playing, from free rewards and by watching ads.
- Entry fees and prizes for matches follow the rules shown in the App. The result of a match is decided by our servers.
- If a match cannot be finished, or a balance is wrong, we may refund or correct it.
- We may change or remove game items to fix errors, stop abuse or balance the game.
- Game items are lost when an account is deleted.
6. Fair play
Please play fairly. You must not:
- use modified or unofficial versions of the App, scripts, bots, or software that chooses moves for you in online games;
- use bugs or mistakes to gain an advantage;
- use several accounts, or work with others, to win trophies, coins or rewards unfairly (including swapping wins);
- harass, threaten or abuse other players;
- attack, overload or try to get into our servers, or use automated tools to access the service.
If we find this, we may remove rewards, reset progress, suspend or delete the account, and no game items will be refunded.
7. Ads
The App has optional rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. You get the reward after the ad has finished, within the daily limits shown in the App. Ads come from third parties and we do not control their content.
8. Updates, maintenance and changes
We may update the App, ask you to install the latest version to keep playing, put the service into maintenance, and change, add or remove features, modes, rewards or prices. During maintenance, games that have already started are normally allowed to finish. We do not promise that the service will always be available or free of errors.
9. Free to use
The App is free to download and use. We may add paid items or features later. If we do, we will tell you before you pay, and the payment terms of the app store will apply.
10. Our rights and your licence
The App, including its name, logo, artwork, sounds and code, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial play. You must not copy, change, sell, rent, decompile or reverse engineer the App, except where the law allows it. The traditional game of Baghchal is part of Nepal's cultural heritage and is not owned by us.
11. Your content and feedback
Your display name and feedback are your content. When you send them, you allow us to store, use and show them to run and improve the game, without payment. Do not send anything unlawful or offensive, or private information about other people.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in the App or at baghchalonline.com/delete-account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, harm other players or the service, or if the law requires it. After deletion we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. No warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that:
- the App will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- every defect will be corrected;
- the App is free of viruses or other harmful parts.
14. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bibash Shrestha is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for the loss of game items, arising from your use of the App.
15. Third-party services
The App uses services from Google (Google Sign-In, AdMob and Firebase), Microsoft (Clarity), Supabase and the app stores. Your use of them is also covered by their own terms and privacy policies.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the App. Using the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
